:: Power Cut! :: |
[posted: 23/12/2006] |
|
| Last night (Friday December 22nd) there was a local power cut due to a fault in the substation which affected the Thekla, River Station, Severnshed and a few other places. We were told by SWEB that it would be fixed by 11.30pm, but in the event it took longer. Luckily we managed to move the night to the Warehouse and most people came over and had a great night.
Thanks to everyone who bore with us while we tried to rectify a tricky situation - and special thanks to the Warehouse people for letting us take their venue over at about ten minutes notice, and the Thekla security for coming over and working on the door.
If the electricity people (SWEB) had been able to give us a better idea of when their fault was going to be fixed, things would have been a little less hectic, but these things can't be predicted... |
